Stunning Large Sterling Silver Rennie Mackintosh Style Figural Brooch

This gorgeous brooch is in a Rennie Mackintosh style and features a woman in the centre, with tall roses or stylised trees either side and birds above her head. It's almost as if she is part of a tree as roots span out along the bottom of the brooch.

This unusual piece is fashioned from sterling silver and was made by Peter M Roberts of Montrose, Scotland. It measures 5cm long x 4.5cm across bottom and is stamped to back PMR and with hallmarks for Edinburgh 1994.
